I wanted a gift idea for my sister, but if I overspend, then she feels like she has to buy a "return" gift. Instead of purchasing something, the idea hit me to put together a video slideshow of photos of her kids (around 40-50 photos spanning 20 years). It was so fun to look through the photos and, luckily for me, required no major creativity. For the cost of a blank cd, you can give a gift that folks will never forget. And, hey, you can't go wrong giving a proud mom or pop photos of the kids. This reminded me of Christmas 2006.
