Yup – get migraines. Wish Advil fixed mine. Sounds like you might be beyond regular headaches? I'd look into the possibility you suffer from migraines. I didn't start getting them until early twenties (mid thirties now). When I lived in Oregon and Washington (State) the barmometric pressure set mine off a lot. Pretty grueling to endure. Good luck.

Your migraine was stopped by Advil? Once I get one, unless I take 2 Fiorinals right away, I'm toast. Mine start out with jacked-up vision, then once the vision clears, the throbbing in one temple and the vile sensation that my brain is like a balloon being squeaked and squeezed by some annoying kid. If the Fiorinal doesn't work, and it just gets worse, then comes the inevitable nausea, vomiting and a trip to the E.R. I rarely have the full-blown migraines like that nowadays, but used to have them all the time when I was in my 20's and early 30's. I guess they get less severe with age- I don't know. Also, taking some chewable Melatonin from Trader Joe's and an ice pack helped me avoid a trip to the E.R. You might try that if you're really hurtin' next time.
