I purchased Pogo iPhone Stylus after watching this demo but very disappointed that it is no way anything like using the finger. I threw it in the bin after 10 minutes of frustration.

Thanks for the video review I am going to buy it after seeing
you use it in action. Could you do a comment or a review on
the sound clip for the I phone from the same company?

Newbie to your site and I just got an I phone and classic
so I am expanding my universe.

Thanks

Chris, I'm totally with you on this one. Yes, the touch on the iPhone is cool but sometimes you really need something more precise. I've heard about the Pogo iPhone Stylus from the Today in iPhone Podcast, some time ago... and always wanted one but never came around to getting one... seeing this video reminded me about the Pogo and now i'm seriously thinking about getting it.

This would be a must for me. I have umm... I guess bigger fingers then most people. When I tried to type on the iPhone I couldn't hit a single letter right. >:(

So thanks for the tip Chris! If I get an iPhone, I will be purchasing this for sure!

A little while ago I was looking around for a good stylus for my iPhone 3G. I wanted the $15 one that ThinkGeek was selling, but they discontinued it. I wasn't about to pay $20 for this Pogo one from them. I just think that is way too much.

I ended up buying a pair (got two for the price of one) off eBay and have been fairly happy with the purchase. It doesn't have a felt tip like the Pogo does, but instead its a little rubbery feeling. It is a little difficult to get the screen to recognize it at first, but after a quick second tap on it, it ends up working just fine.

Because the tip is rubbery, and the lack of first try recognition, one is tempted to put a little extra force on the tip to get it going. This can cause the tip to pop out and require a little super glue added around it to keep it in place. Don't worry, the stylus still works fine after this quick repair.

In any case, for the $5 approximately I spent for this stylus, I got a product that does what I want for a reasonable price. Reasonable being way less than ThinkGeek. I love them, but their prices are a bit steep sometimes.

I looked at this item, but ended up not getting it because I thought that $20 was just way too much for a stylus. I ended up buying one off of eBay. While it doesn't have a "felt" tip or whatever makes the Pogo special, it does its job very well. Its a rubbery type tip and is a little grabby on the screen, so you have to be a little careful when using it (I ended up popping out the tip and had to super glue it back in, but it still works great). For the $5 or so that I paid for them (got a two pack for that price), I think I am getting what I want for a good price.
