I actually have raced an ATV. However in this country (UK) we call them Quad Bikes. Most of the time they are actually used on the farms in this area so that they can get around pretty fast. However some have made a business out of letting people come and use them. I went on a school trip once to one of these places. I had to be the odd one out since even at 16 I was 6 foot 6 and about 200 pounds so I had to use one of the adult ones. In other words while the other students used 50cc ATV’s i had to use a 500cc ATV. Scared the crapola out of me

I must say I absolutely love that game. The ATV customization is outstanding and the racing looks great.

I’ve not only raced them, I’ve owned them for years. Not the video version either…. the REAL ones!! Nothing is better than racing them around a corn field here in Iowa after harvest!!! LOL seriously, it’s all true!

The Game looks awsome, pretty cool for disney. i have never really had any respect for disney games in the past i was more in to games like Unreal tornament, but that game looks pretty cool. so is it only out for xbox 360 or can u get it for pc etc?

My first game for the PlayStation 2 when I purchased it on launch day quite a few years back was ATV Off Road Fury (2?). I had a lot of fun with that game, doing tricks off jumps, etc.

I have never raced a real ATV, never really had the chance. My uncle however did get in a pretty bad crash going 30+mph, lost control and was thrown into a tree.

I would love to ride a atv but sadly i haven’t been able to. I do have games that are about racing on a atv but i lost it.

I’ve always loved ATVs. The game sounds good, is it coming out for PC? I don’t own a 360 because I’m more into PC gaming than I am console gaming. I will say riding an ATV is one of the most exhilarating activities ever invented.

Nope. Never raced an ATV. The ATV’s that I would ride aren’t really built for racing. The ones I like are the ones that do well drudging through the mud and climbing mountains. Little death traps like the 4-wheelers in that game don’t quite cut the mustard. ;)

I hope they provide a demo version on the marketplace, I’m willing to give it a shot. I thought it hilarious when you said it was, “easy,” and you were in 14th place. When playing a racing game, speed isn’t everything! You should always let off the gas and maybe brake a little around the corners. I’m not sure who Duncan Riley is, but I thought the girl strikingly resembled Morgan Webb.

I had ATV offroad fury for playstation 2, But in real life I do not like atv’s I rode on one once and will never do it again!

Yes its out on PC and the graphics are as good as the version on xbox 360. I guess disney marketing dept didnt do a proper job as no one know about this game. I usually visit gamespot site when i want to read reviews. this game wasnt in the new released games section, although its rated 8.5 at gamespot.

iv never raced an ATV but when i was younger we have several four-wheelers and three-wheelers an we would take them to a place called “flat river” and it was basically a huge sand pit– almost like a desert with mountains and we would ride our ATV’s for hours ..it was alot of fun.

You did better then i did the first time. i played this at the store and loved it. i think i usually lean to games like this. I am not the role type player. i like to turn on and play! thanks for the review chris!

I’m thankful that I grew up in the rural Midwest because I got to race ATVs alot. As well as alot of other off-road vehicles…

I loved the demo. It had a very SSX feel to it. It seems like there was some actual thought put into the gameplay. They did a great job making it accessible and fun, and I’m definitely planning on picking it up at some point in time.

Man, I wish I could just get games right outside my door for free…

i havent raced on i rode one but i raced go karts and rolled four times. waited for the oil to restore then raced again

i have two gokarts and i raced my uncle on his atv he sold. he won cause half way through i flipped and i had to let the oil settle back in the engene

I’ve never raced them but I’ve done some off-roading. ATVs are used a lot up here in the high desert of California since there’s a lot of open terrain to ride them on.

Wow, this game actually looks like fun. Somehow an ATV game doesn’t sound that much fun to me since, I don’t know, it just doesn’t appeal that much to me, but now I’m actually thinking about picking a copy up or at least renting it for my PS3. It surprised me that it’s by Disney because I just think of them making games like Finding Nemo: The Game, or High School Musical 3: The Game, but this actually looks like something decent to try out. Graphics looked pretty good too, even though it was through a webcam. I’m going to try it out!

I have raced atvs with friends and flipped over on them two many times. At least with the virtual game I won’t get hurt as much. I do more console gaming because my PC gets to slow where as the console is much faster.

Well I raced a ATV in a open field. As for video game racing genre… I’m only good for simple racing games like Mario Kart and Nascar games. This game sounds like a alright game, I wouldn’t buy it because it’s was created by Disney.

My family has an ATV in Idaho. we go riding in the valley every year. Not super intesne stuff like in the game, though… that seems kinda physics- defying. ATVing is very fun, but i’d rather not die riding 100 feet over a gorge.

My brother has an ATV he races it and loves it. I just take it out every now and then. But Chris you really should give it a try it is really fun. I have played the Pure demo though and is almost exactly like actual ATV racing. ( as much as an ATV game can be)

I bought this game for my daughter and it has been absolutely awesome! The graphics are incredible and it has just been one of the best family games for 360 that they have put out.

Thats looks like a good game. Im a racing fan so i like many types of racing video games and offroad games like these are one of them. Only problem is that I own a PS3 not a 360. But maybe it will come out in the future.

I was actually looking into buying that game for the Xbox 360 this week. Now watching this video, it’s a definite buy on my part. It looks like a great game! But to answer the blog question…I haven’t actually “Raced” in real life but I have “Raced” on games. But, my uncle actually owns an ATV so on occasion I’ll drive one around and putts on it. They are awesome to have and drive.

By they by: I faith in that if you play the game more, you will definitely win a race. I know you can do it Chris!

Any who, does this sort of seem like a take on the release title for PS3, Motorstorm? It just seems to have the same feel except it doesn’t have trucks and bikes and Motorstorm doesn’t have ATV’s.

I didn’t know this was a game from Disney until now. But anyways, I think this game looks absolutely great. I usually play racing games with cars, but if it looks fun enough then I will give it a try and this game definitely looks awesome. This is one of the best looking Disney games out there. I am certainly going to pick up this game to at least try it out.

Although I’m not really into racing games I might consider getting this game being that it appears to be something different than other racing games.

I have an xbox 360, and I think I may give this game a shot, because who doesn’t like driving type of games? It is fun for all ages and it really doesn’t get old… does it?

As far as Chris’s racing skills… eh, I think he was trying to impress us all with his tricks, but if he didn’t try to pull off a lot of those tricks and had a little more experience, I think he could of pulled into at least 3rd place ;)

This looks like a good game, but I never really got in to racing games that much. I am more of a good shooter person.

This game is crazy good! Love the graphics and I highly recommend this game to anyone that owns a Xbox 360. I just got it and I love it! I came in 10th lol!

Nothing beats using a real ATV. They are so much fun and give you quite the rush. I’ve played ATV games and they are nothing compared to the actual feeling of a realistic ATV.

No I have not raced ATV’s but I have drove a few of them. They are very fun and can be very useful when doing yard work. Anyways I played that demo and looked pretty good..

At last a awesome game by Disney. I’ve play the demo of it so far and I’m impressed by the graphics and I’m going to have to buy this sometime soon.

Well even know that I am not a big video game player I always did enjoy the accessional racing game. I was never good thought I would always crash or flip over nsad then get in 9th place.

Once…and only once. First time on an ATV…

I raced my wife’s cousin. I had two flat tires. Needless to say, he rocked me. Luckily, I did not fall off or hurt myself or anyone else.

I have tried riding a real one and i fell of it.

Ended up in the hospital.

I saw totally rad show yesterday and I heard about this game. On the show they said it reminded them of ssx tricky because it’s not all about speed but also about using your boost to do tricks in mid-air. So there is more than meets the eye to this game.

Thank You Chris for introducing me to this game. PURE looks like so much fun. I am going to pick it up as soon as possible for my PS3.

wow that game looks gg i never played a 360 or a ps3 befor but i have ridden my bros atv and did a 90 deg wheely and it omost feel on top of me i was scared big time thought it would of crushed me but it didnt fall on me but that game looks kool id like to try that game some day whenever i buy a 360 or ps3 cuz i have yet to try any new games on the new systems only wii system but hey seen you do a your video live of this but keep up the good work probly one of the most video outputers on youtube.

Here in Oregon, we have a place called “Sand Lake” right off of the beach, it’s a big sand bowl where we take our “Quads” to race up and down the beach and in and out of the bowl.
I have also played ATV games and the ones I like the most allow you to go off of the course freestyle with interesting things to jump.

ATV Video game? I tried it.. it wasn’t that good actually.

But, have you ever raced in real life using a 2008 Volvo S80 V8 .vs. 2008 Chevy Corvette?

Now that was awesome.

From what I’ve seen this game looks like a very polished version of something out of the SSX series. The graphics and visuals looked amazing for a trick racing game made by Disney, and this is something I could actually see myself playing. I think I might rent it this week.

As for ATV racing in the real world, never have but it’s on my to-do list.
