Have you been to the Seattle Space Needle?
It was a clear day in Seattle today, which is normal for the late summer months. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky when I shot this photo with my iPhone 3GS. I was on the Seattle Center grounds for “Bite of Seattle,” tasting a variety of foods. The following action shots were taken by Michelle Gamboa:

Hi Chris – yeah, I’ve been to the top of the space needle. It was a while ago but I enjoyed it…although didn’t have my camera with me unfortunately. Worse times to not have one.

I’ve been to the Space Needle before, it was about 11 years ago though. The speed of the elevator and height scared the crap out of me.

Went to Seattle for first time a few weeks ago for developer training. I went to the needle and took lots of photos up there so coworker could assemble a 360 panoramic.
We got the Simpson’s episode about building a monorail stuck in our heads so we were quoting/singing “monorail” almost all week. haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3xGtjhZ_Yg

Yep. It’s been a while but it is quite nice. Go for lunch, it’s MUCH less expensive. They used to have neat place mats that were like cartoons but with the names of everything you were looking at so you could identify them. It was fun.

i’ve lived in the seattle area for 10 years now, and i’ve been to the space needle 2 times, for me it wasn’t that great, cuz i was too young to enjoy it. i perfer the sci-fi museum not far away from the space needle.

I remember going there on my Microsoft interview in November 2001. The restaurant was closed and no one was allowed to the top because it was Tuesday.

I went to the rotating restaurant at the top of the needle shortly after it opened (was it a million years ago?). I don’t remember the dinner, but I always remember looking for my purse after I had put it down on the floor next to “the wall.” It was almost 180 degrees away from our table since I didn’t realize we in the restaurant were rotating and not the solid “wall” structure.
