I have to say, I really don't understand why you needed to go back to tables to make the new, er, site. Sure the 'flashy' thing wasn't great, but the original lockergnome site (the one for the newsletter I used to subscribe to, over two years ago) was good. It's too complicated - and the switch to the new, not so good design, hasn't fixed it.
The new design could benefit a lot from being CSS based - it would undoubtably make it smaller (file size wise). How is that a bad thing?

btw, my constructive criticism… the current “design” is utter ****. start over, or better yet, go back to the previous one that rocked the socks of all other designs.

Perhaps you should consider getting some “competent” web developers involved. Probably not worth the $ though. You're market value has gone way down over the past couple years along with your original content. Cut and paste sites like Lockergnome are going the way of the dodo bird pal.
