Try Frisko Freeze in Tacoma, if they're still there.
In Seattle, you might want to check out the Red Robin or Burgermaster.
Dick's is great if you're really hungry, but after one of their burgers and fries you won't have to eat again for two or three days.

There is something just wrong about a hetro male saying I just might have to give Dicks a try. But something tells me that Dick's just won't be able to compete with a good ole fashion Krekel burger. A bit greasy they may be. But anyone who has eaten one at their Decatur or Springfield, IL location(s) knows what I'm talking about. Not as good as they once were. Since old man Krekel has passed. I think your mouth / stomach issue might have come from eating at 4 different places in less than a few hours. But I'd agree with the statement there is a difference in quality when it comes to burgers. Although I've not really eaten much meat the past year. So I'm basing this on my memory of things.

Dicks is aweful. You have to be drunk in order to believe that it tastes good. :)
Definitely try Wibbley's and the Red Burger (i believe that is name) up on Phinney Ridge.

For my money, Two Bells in Belltown has the tastiest burger in town. It's not huge, but it's all about the beef. It's a bar, though, so comparison is not completely fair.

Dicks burgers are great. The best part is that they are open to 2 am on the weekends and they have been doing this for many, many years. Kidd Valley also makes a good burger. Some Seattle people swear by the Red Mill burger (they are kind of by the Woodland Park zoo) but not me.

You gotta try Wibbleys in Bellevue. Its my personal favorite, and while a burger is well a burger and usually greasy, theirs are less than normal.
