I have used chrome for a while and it is fast but no replacement for Firefox in a Windows enviorment. Google Chrome has issues with Flash and Flash media. It also shuts down a lot when in facebook picture viewing. Which again is a Flash loading issue. Firefox is a sure thing in handing these types of applications. Even though Firefox is a little slower then Google Chrome unmodified it is reliable. I use them both in my Windows 7 ROG SP1 64Bit, but would never rely on Chrome over Firefox because of the flash issue it has.

I brag all the time to my wife (the MAC user) about Chrome, but she has not been able to try it, on her G5... I for one love Chrome and also have just started to use Flock and am very happy with it also. I was finding FF to be crashing a lot more lately, so I switched.

Somebody's gone ahead and built the latest Chromium Mac release, and... I don't know, I think the UI is a lot clunkier than Stainless.

I tried out the google chrome beta for windows, and while it does have very impressive features and speed, I just can't stand the UI. Until that changes, I don't think I'll be switching.
