Going Beyond TV

As I was scanning through the different posts tonight on Lockergnome, the title of this one caught my attention. Going Beyond TV just screams out to me for many reasons. Heck, I don’t even watch tv anymore!! There are just so many different mediums out there these days to obtain our entertainment from. Do any of us really confine ourselves to any one over another now? I know I don’t. I like to use a variety of different sources to watch shows, listen to music and even just read the news. After reading this article, I had to read more! I found a treasure-trove of things to share with all of you from across our network of Geeks today.

My wife and I still watch TV but it’s never live. Between using Media Center as our DVR and the Netflix subscription streaming to the Xbox 360 everything we watch is time shifted. Not only that but we spend more time on our respective computers than we do sitting in front of the television.
