Here's my idea... (sucks that I missed Gnomedex, love your stuff Chris and I adore Bug Labs).- Using the camera and an optical adapter (for macro) set up a fridge scanner
- Create a web interface much like a self-checkout (especially useful for stuff like produce or anything without a UPC code)
- Web-based apps track your "inventory" and check online recipe databases
- Base unit separates from camera unit for portable grocery list-maker (although a web service accessible via mobiles provides an alternative)
- GPS in car provides suggested nearby shops for ingredients
- touch screen allows easy adjustment of quantities (as you drink a gallon of milk, you can simply adjust the milk level in a graphic of the jug, or input estimated quantities)So, scanner + inventory mgmt apps + gps for shopping.

I like Beth’s!<br

Have to run a cable now - too much hassle.

WIRELESS VGA – I have wireless Keyboard, Mouse, Printer, windows that supports 9 monitors, several video cards and a 50″ Plasma TV with a VGA input.

Sometimes it would be nice, while sitting in the family room to select VGA input on the TV and get some work done with a 50″ monitor. Just think - no more cold-winter mornings standing in a foot of slush/snow, no more getting soaked in Spring-time Psunami- like rain, and no more waiting in the sweltering August heat. Not that I took the bus to school; that's for losers. My Mom drove me.

Clearly the best idea above is GPS enabled school bus.
