I have 2 blue UV LED fans in my computer they are awesome!! They are pretty much for show though. Planning on getting something better.

Actually, you can get par cans or an LED strip light. They are very cool and versatile.
I am a lighting designer by trade and often use them in installations as well as during live sconcerts. As far as controlling it via computer, you can install dmx control software on your computer and interface it with the lights thru a special dongle.
