I was about to break down and buy an ipod, I really was. I thought they were a bit pricey, but I was almost sold. Then they released what I think to be an inferior product in the Shuffle. Instead of giving us the features at a lower price, they gave us an item with next to no features for a lower price. I'll probably buy one when everyone's selling them on ebay for 30 bucks.

I'm a Mac guy (with Windows experience) so I understand your point. For podcast you can try this method for syncing files to just about any MP3 device.

It takes a little bit to set up, but once it's done I sync and go. I use it for my iRiver and Pocket PC (on my Mac).

Good post, Chris. Just when everyone starts to wonder what Apple can do to maintain their market share, they raise the bar just a little higher. Talk about agility.
