Sweet telescope with all the nifty electronics included. It's on my "to get" list, but at a low priority for the time being. With my other love of taking snaps, I eventually want to get into astrophotography. I'd check out some Usenet newsgroups for praise and complaints. I'm pretty sure there is a group specifically for the Meade model you're looking at. Like SLR cameras, the optics matter and you pay for them. Here's hoping for a canopy of stars above you.
