I recently discovered Google Apps for myself, and love the concept of everything being online. One of my friends collaborated online through Google Docs for a school project, and told me how easy and effective the service was. I also started syncing iCal to Google Calendar using Spanning Sync. I can't imagine the possibilities if Google develops a mobile phone platform...

I do all my class notes on google docs with my laptop, so that i have easy access to them on my desktop PC if needed. Save the hassle of emailing and downloading, plus it saves disk space on this 80gb HD, no need for a clunky word processor to type simple notes

I previously had not been a hardcore Google user, but I have to say that this might have me sold on actually using it. I am always toooo lazy to buy ink for my printer, so I just go to the library to print it out. Sometimes, however, sometimes I forget to e-mail the document to myself and it is a real pain to walk all the way back. This would have also been good for my nephew, as he had to type a paper and put it on a floppy disk....

I think this is a great concept, however I think I still prefer the idea of services such as 'Back to my Mac'. Knowing that you definitely have everything that you need incase you forget it is a bit more reassuring for me.
If Google provided a Document auto-back software option then I think this idea would be completely sold to me, but not quite yet.

I haven't tried google docs yet. But I think I will check it out today. Sounds very cool...always having docs on the go.
I'm doin' it.
Google will rule the world soon.

Google is making fantastic Internet services. But I still can’t use their office replacement in my all days life, it’s just not so easy to use like Microsoft products or maybe apples but I haven’t used that on yet.
But great to store your data with Google is by installing Gdrive and upload your that on a simple mail account which you can access like a hard drive build in to your computer.

It's about time, the means for this has been around but Google finally got it done and did it RIGHT!

Maybe in 20 years that big briefcase will be replaced with a smart-phone-like device.

I've always loved using any Google product. Google Docs is one of the best. One of the cool features that Google just added was the ability to have your documents automatically backed up to your local hard drive, so if you didn't have an internet connection, you could still view and edit your files. After you got re-connected, Google Docs automatically syncs them with the copies online. How cool is that!

Google Docs is a great service! I always use it for my school work. It saves my documents online, and it also gives me the option to publish it so I can have others view my documents too if I want. This is much better than Microsoft Word because no program is needed to use it, it's completely online. It has been very convenient for me! They also added an "Offline" Google Docs, which allows you to make documents offline and then automatically submit them online when you go online.

I've been using Google Docs for awhile now. It's great.

At school when we start working on something, everyone opens up the respective Microsoft Office program, and I open up Google Docs. I also love how I can download them as PDFs and print them out that way.
No more flash drives for me.

I guess the only downside is, if you need to edit or retrieve a doc and don't have internet access, oh well.

Oh yeah, I'd totally check out Google Docs on the iPhone, that is if I actually had one. I just wish the cell phone companies would use the same network type, then we could all use unlocked iPhones.
