1. Treat each other like you did before you married/were going together/engaged. etc. The biggest issue is how things *change* after commitment.
2. Don’t have children. It has been proven that after a woman has children, her brain structure changes, and it is the reason why she becomes more controlling and *bitchy*.
3. For the women, never get with a man expecting him to change. The more you want him to, the more he will resist and go the opposite direction. Men hate being told what to do, succumbing to their women’s desires messes with their ego.
4. Honesty is good, but only to a certain degree. Don’t go overboard in the honesty department…your just asking for trouble.
5. Know when to let go:Trying to stay with someone you have grown apart from, or discovered you really aren’t meant to be with…it’s just dishonest and torturous to both of you.
6. Make sure you both have friends and get away from each other on a semi regular basis.

“Men and Women have different internal body temperatures. Women like warmer temperatures and men like cooler temperatures.”

Now this is not true in my life. My wife has to be refrigerated. I could care less, when she is out of town I am content in our South Carolina Mill house with the AC off and the doors open with the fans running.

Nothing makes me more jealous than hearing about some guy whose wife complains about him wanting to keep the house too cool.
