I thought these were telemarketer calls were hilarious… until it happened to us on our podcast! We have an incoming phone line with Skype, and a telemarketer for Kohl's Department Stores (not sure if it was live or a recording) left a telemarketing message on our Skype voicemail. Too funny. We are going to shift our tape nights to weekday dinner hours to get one of these buggers on live during the show…

I laughed so hard when the first one came in live on the show, even more the second time. The way you handled these, Chris, was quite impressive. I wouldn't have been able to keep it up for long without laughing.

Awesome! But, you should always make the telemarketer listen to a voice prompt that first tells them that their call may be recorded to improve your service!

I like to tell the Telemarketers to hold on while I get my credit card. Then I come back to the phone after about twenty minutes. If thery're still there I tell them I couldn't find it. That way at least thery're not bugging anybody else for that twenty minutes.

I think this should happen during every CPS, it can be like a random segment where you never know when it'll come. Oooh the suspence!
But those were great Chris, especially the first one where Ponzi busted out laughing when she realized it was a telemarketed after having made a related remark. Classic

This is the perfect use of podcasting — broadcasting telemarketing calls to be mocked at publically.
I can see it now: VoIP with automatic call recording … tag calls from telemarketers to automatically transcode the GSM or WAV of the call to MP3 and upload it somewhere. Oh, the possibilities …
