I have had the good fortune to have several job assignments in SF, and loved every minute spent there. I even seriously considered moving there in the early 90's, but as fate would have it, my plans went awry. You forgot to mention the Haight/Asbury, Noe Hill, and Marina districts as cool places to see, so I'll mention them for ya! I share the same sentiments for SF.
