Found: One Heart in San Francisco
San Francisco was once my home. In being here for a few days, I've come to realize that I did not take full advantage of the city while I was still a resident. I don't regret my decisions, however, as I then buried myself in work which has continued to be fruitful to this day. Potrero Hill, Mission, SOMA, North Beach, Sunset, Castro… San Francisco was chock full of fun, food, and friends. I left SF due to its outrageous cost of living, having moved here initially for a media job. Tons of great thinkers live here, and I wish I could move 'em all to Seattle. ;)

I share the same sentiments for SF. I have had the good fortune to have several job assignments in SF, and loved every minute spent there. I even seriously considered moving there in the early 90's, but as fate would have it, my plans went awry. You forgot to mention the Haight/Asbury, Noe Hill, and Marina districts as cool places to see, so I'll mention them for ya!
