Another font making program is Font Creator from high-logic.com ($50 shareware). I haven't used it, but my sister made a font out of my handwriting that looked pretty good.

Chris, this new design is pretty neat, unfortunately it doesn't look so hot in the non-IE browsers I use at home on my Linux box.

On our Linux machine the font doesn't show up but on Windows it's fine – though a little hard to read. Maybe if you redid the handwriting a little more carefully? The letters sort of have that shaky Parkinsons thing going on. I like the idea, though, personal touch and all that.

I like this site much more than the previous version. This one is faster on PC's and actually works on Mac's

I'll ditto Mike's comments as it takes me twice as long to read the posts in the font (and capitals is considered shouting remember! :-)
Posting the entire content would also be cool – and if you could do gretchen's whilst your at it even better :-)

Gee I hope this doesn't become a trend, there's a reason people have been using typewriters and computers to communicate instead of handwriting. It's called readability. Your's isn't too bad, but I still would rather not have to install fonts on every website I visit and then try to decipher the handwriting of anyone, even you. :)
BTW, if you included all of your post content in your XML feed I would be able to view the text the way I want to, in my aggregator, just a thought…

Lisa: I do have the font installed and it is readable just not as readable as a true-type font would be.
On a positive note I love having the posted date available.

If I did this with my handwriting I don't think anyone (myself included!) would be able to read it! Your handwriting is very legible though. This is such a cool design, totally different than anything I've seen elsewhere.

I really don't think I'm important enough to the internet world to get my font TrueTyped OR OpenTyped. That's the magic of it, my words should just be typed. Right now, I'm too busy battling MovableType. I've engaged in all out war with Tux..he's winning.

as cool as having your hand writing on the screen, it doesn't help the readability of the site.
