Finding a Futon
Our first mission of the day: find a bed for the night. Our own bed, that is – a futon! I've owned only one futon in my life, and it wasn't a very good one. We're not going to cheap out on one this time around, though. There's a place down the street called Futon 1-2-3, and I believe they do home deliveries. I'd just as soon sink money into a futon than into another night in the hotel. These guys have the futon frames, the futon mattresses, and the futon covers – only when used together will you have a fu-tacular experience. They flip, they fold, they're fun! I'm not sure if their futon selection is huge, but I'm certain we can find something to suit our short-term (and future guests') sleeping needs. With a sturdy frame, there's no reason the futon won't last for years. It's a bed – it's a sofa – it's a futon.

FUTONS!
If your area has a IKEA – check them out. They had some nice futons with a very thick cushion to lay on.
Believe it or not – Sams Club had a great futon, little expensive but the cushion was what made it all the worthwhile to lay or sit on.

Futon Home Delivery, now I've heard of everything! Heck, I thought I was happy with just getting pizza at my door. :)

If you want CHEAP goods (note, I didn't say inexpensive) then IKEA is fine. I would suggest going to a futon specialist, and DON'T buy a cheap one! P.S. I own and use (in both ways) a futon.

Futons rock. If there's an IKEA nearby then you can get them real cheap. There's two of them in my house, and I use both to crash out on all the time.. IKEA and Futons for life!!

You can find excellent Buys on Futons and Frames at Walmart, although the Futon itself is Pretty worthless. I would suggest You buy the Futon and Frame Package from Walmart, and then sell the Futon and keep the Frame. Then buy a good quality Futon at a local bedding store. You would still come out ahead.
A good, very inexpensive place to buy a Futon Cover is covers4less.com
Go there now and check it out.

Since we're on the subject of mattress, I’d recommend the seahorse mattress. It’s really good for the back and you can feel your lower back getting a good rest when you buy one.
