File Transfer

Paging Ken Rossi (whose email addresses keep bouncing, and who I’d really like to get ahold of as soon as humanly possible for a completely unrelated issue) – I’ve got a writeup on Civil Netizen over on Lockergnome tonight. I think if this cross-platform software had a Web component to it, you could have a big winner on your hands. Software is great for desktops, but so much of my life is spent online anymore. I hate transfering files to people – especially when I’m ready to do it via IM. Plus, I hate having to tell someone else that they need to install more software, too. Not a day goes by when I don’t need to transfer some kind of large file to someone else – and email is always the easiest option.

GoToAssist lets you provide support to your friends or customers even when they aren't at home. By using the unattended support feature, you can fix their software issues, install their updates, or nearly anything else you would normally do on-site.
