File of the Day
For years, we've been sitting on a certain domain. Jake dusted it off last month and decided to create a somewhat different site / service. I thought it'd be neat to slap a familiar GUI on top of it, so I asked the geekiest chick I know (Courtney) to help. In two days, she had taken my idea and breathed life into it. For download junkies, I present: FileOfTheDay.com. We're working on whipping up a Mac one, too. Shareware authors can contact Jake if they want to get listed there. It's not an award - it's merely a showcase. And yes, it has an RSS feed.
GoDaddy Web hosting plans are now more powerful than ever. Best of all, their plans start at just $3.95/month! No matter what plan you choose, your site receives 24/7 maintenance and protection in a world-class data center. Plus, as a listener of The Chris Pirillo Show, enter code CHRIS2 when you check out, and save an additional $5 off any order of $30 or more. Get your piece of the internet at GoDaddy!

Not bad at all, though I have to mention Chris' previous blog reminded me more of a XP theme I used to use. Either way, it's clever. I probably wouldn't have thought of it.

Nice, remindes me of the old winfiles.com before it went pay for use.
Chris you are an RSS junkie now. Which is not in anyway a bad thing I say.

Fileofthe day - are you sure you shouldn't have called it - Hackof theDay” ? Or how 'bout “ObscureLittleThingoftheDayday? Or even better “SomeObscureThingthatChrisThinksisImportantoftheDayThing”.
Well whatever - as long a sit uses RSS. Now how 'bout supporting ENT?

Chris, are you getting ready to transform into supergeek? Or it looks like you could start a fireball attack from your mouth. Anywho, you gotta love when webcams pick up a pic like that.. maybe you should start a “caption this” for some webcam shots.

FileOfTheDay is a great idea, but I have to tell you: you gotta lose the gaudy XML button and get one of The Plat / Antipixel's buttons! :P
And maybe you could add a 'rating' (yay or nay) for each game, or maybe put it in a category, or…
