FeedDemon v1.5 is Live!

No joke: this is the best version of FeedDemon to date. It's the Windows RSS / Atom / Podcasting client to beat. You basically use FeedDemon to make Web sites come to you. v1.5 boasts Powerful podcasting tools (including a way to sync your favorite podcasts with a Windows Media Player playlist!); Integration with the recently-Ask'ed Bloglines; Integration with Feedster, Flickr, del.icio.us and other popular feed search engines; Pre-configured with dozens of popular feeds, so you can start using it right away – including all of Lockergnome's RSS feeds. Oh, and The Chris Pirillo Show is a default podcast, too. Thanks, Nick – a thousand times over. With the right configuration, you may very well have pulled me away from NewsGator.

You rely on your computer, and so do your customers. Keep your computers (and theirs!) running in near-perfect condition with the help of Optimize 3.0. Use it to get rid of unnecessary files and junk, clean out your registry, and even streamline boot times.

Just FYI your link is broken… a few typos…

You're welcome, Chris – and thank you for blogging about the new version :)

I agree, it is great! Only feed reader I'll use now.

Umm… FeedDemon… I'm loving it ;)

I've been a light user of RSS because I don't like the look and feel of the RSS reader I choose – Newsgator. NewsGator Outlook edition is not easy to read – the text looks washed out. If I click on one of my feeds from the right hand side it jumps to an Outlook view which formats everything in a way that doesn't read well. Its exceed the 5 minute rule – I wasn't able to find an easy way to improve presentation.
Feed Demon 1.5 on the other hand looks great. It follows Outlook 2003's layout which works very well – Channels on left – summaries in the middle and full content on the right in a view pane. I'm dumping Newsgator Outlook Edition. They need to improve its GUI.
