If you want to make DVDs from VHS tapes with Vista, don't bother to try. Believe me it does not work, it will spend a long time rendering them and then refuse to burn a disk. It comes up with "disk not empty","disk not recordable", no disk in drive" etc.etc. You name it it complains about it..
My adice is stick with to XP which in my experience with Cyberlink, Roxio and Nero products works fine.

For lack of more eloquent wording, I'd simply like to say this:

VISTA SUCKS!!!

I'm getting used to the feel of it, that's not the problem. The problem is that it seems nobody (personal / school) who I need to communicate with via the Internet has it, so most things I send are not recieved.

It caused problems with school projects (I'm a 38-year-old psychology major) and is now a problem with applying for my financial aid. The government (of course) doesn't have Vista, so I can't fill out my application Online, which is a time-consuming problem!

I'm VERY frustrated and annoyed with Best Buy & Microsoft, and I'm ready to go back to Best Buy and tell them to remove Vista and reinstall an older version. However, I'm affraid that if I do this, I'll loose all my files. Where can I turn? What can I do?

An unhappy customer,
