I love Christmas. I love the lights, the sounds, the smells… and the good feelings that are abundant. I decided to bring Christmas a little early this year, by having a giveaway!
Not long ago, I reviewed the Saitek Backlit LED Eclipse II USB Keyboard. Since I can’t use it myself, I decided to give it away to one of you! This will be done next Friday evening, October 26th, 2007. You must be present in the chat room at the time of the random ’scrolling’, so that you can give me the link to your comment. Here’s the way you can win:
Leave a comment to this video, either on YouTube or my blog. In that comment, you have to guess which of the following was my favorite Christmas movie to watch when I was growing up. If you are chosen, and have left a comment with the correct answer… you win the keyboard!
- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
- Frosty the Snowman
- Santa Claus is Coming to Town
- The Little Drummer Boy
- Mr Magoo’s Christmas Carol
- Cricket on the Hearth
- Frosty Returns
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- A Year Without Santa Claus
- Rudolph’s Shiny New Year
- Nester the Long Eared Christmas Donkey
- Frosty’s Winder Wonderland
- ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
- Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July
That’s all there is to it! Good luck to everyone.

I am g oing to say… your favorite was the same as mine was ( is, what the heck am in saying here?!) it is Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer!
But i want to say here and now… I am 44, and grew up watching most of these, and to this day, I never miss. They are all a part of what Christmas is to me

Dear Chris Pirillo. My guess for your favorite Christmas movie growing up would be Dr. Suess’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I am guessing that the happy ending would have appealed to you in a big way.

It’s because the chatroom is moderated during recording, and only people with voice (+v) can talk. We do this to limit some of the users who like to try and ruin the videos by posting nonsensical or obscene stuff in the chat window.
If you feel you should have voice, send a private message to LordKaT in the chatroom (/msg lordkat your message here).
Also, don’t forget to register your nickname with nickserv. Type in /ns help register for more information.

Does anyone remember that obscure Christmas cartoon from the late 80’s that was about a dad and son with their mill out in the forest, cutting down trees and the woodland animals got together to stop them? They werent people, they were some kind of weird, made up animal with a nose that looked like a torn sock that protruded off their faces straight fora few inches, then bent towards the ground? Its been driving me nuts for YEARS! Also, Yogi’s first Christmas was one of my favorites in the 80’s as Im a product of the late 70’s. How the Flintstones Saved Christmas was good too, but not much tops Rudolph, The Grinch, The Year Without Santa, Santa is Coming to Town, Frosty, etc. Those are classics. But, any help figuring out that strange one would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
