Don't believe the hype!
I've lived in Seattle for 10 years now. For the first few years, I fell for the ol' “slight drop in temperature in August” routine that mother nature pulls.
It's headfake. A flim flam. A ruse.
It lasts for a few days, and then we have a month of 80+ degree days in September.
Fall arrives here in October, with the first windstorm that blows water onto the 520 bridge.
You heard it here first.

I'm right there with ya! I HATE hot weather and I'm cookin' right now in So. Cal. My idea of the perfect locale weather-wise is, SF, Seattle and anywhere in the U.K. I just dig a lovely overcast day!
