I tried Banana before and have the same problems with it. Now I use Rohos Face Logon, works better (i.e. my friends cant unlock by face:) ) and it has a feature to prevent hi-res-image photo-match unlock.

I have a Dell inspiron 1525 and get BSOD on boot after installing this.

I'm running vista home premium.

Removed bananascreen via safe mode and it was all good again.

It seems the like the software either conflicts with the Dell webcam software or the hardware.

Can you try and solve this?

In some cases it might be useless for security, someone could stick your picture in front of the camera and gain access

Good software!
Actually its just for fun, coz on some or the other angle, anybody's face unlocks the computer easily.

But, i admit its really a cool aslternate way to "lock and unlock" the computer ;-)

I installed this software couple of days ago, works fine. But to test it I ask my friend to sit infront of the PC and screen was unlocked by his face.

This is interesting but a password works just fine. I think people don't realize how easy it is to create and memorize a series of letters and numbers. I can easily keep up to five or six passwords in my head, none of which have any words in them. To be honest I don't need more than two now that i use PassPack.
