Evolution is BS
Or so says Pat Boone in Poor Darwin’s False Religion:
Dr. Jonathan Wells states flatly, “I think in 50 years, Darwinian evolution will be gone from the science curriculum. People will look back on it and ask how anyone could, in their right mind, have believed this, because it’s so implausible when you look at the evidence.” But 50 years could be enough to destroy the faith of two generations of our young, enough to replace it with a bankrupt false religion. Will we have the courage, the gumption, to make sure that doesn’t happen?

I’m not going to debate anyone here, I’m simply going to give you some links to some material to consider.

Richard Dawkins once said in 2001 on the prospect of humans and dinosaurs co-existing …
“alleged human bones in the Carboniferous coal deposits. If authenticated as human, these bones would blow the theory of evolution out of the water.” (Free Inquiry, V.21, No.4, 10/11/2001)

I for one also believe Darwin got it wrong….count me one of the lonely if you will. The evidence is overwhelming in disputing the claims of evolution. My gosh, look outside…..this happened by chance? I think not. I’d rather be wrong on this subject that believe that there’s no point to all of this….. And there are many, many top level scientists that absolutely believe in a intelligent designer. The evidence points to it and has changed many evolutionists minds. I’m not trying to stir up the comments here I just feel quite strongly about this subject and am always suprized at the ability of people to swallow the Darwinian Koolaid.

“I Almost Lost My Mind the first time I read this article.” — Ya know, the truth is supposed to set you free, not make you loose your mind. Now just relax, take a deep breath, you’ll be fine as soon as you realize that Darwin did indeed get it all wrong. I know, I know, your teacher told you it was true but guess what? Your teacher was wrong too.
BTW, I know that Drawin’s theory was and is completely wrong and I’m not the least bit lonely. Go figure. Thanks for the link to the article Chris.

All of his arguments have simple and well known refutations but memes like these can flourish because our undereducated population is fertile ground.

David Knight: Please check some of these links out…

You will find many highly educated Christians there, too many to list really, even a few nobel prize winners like Charles Hard Townes who had won the nobel prize for Physics in 1964 and of course who can forget Donald Knuth author of the classic “The Art of Computer Programming”. Many of them do not believe in evolution.
Please try searching for Scientists who are Christians and also while your at it try searching for Scientists that do not believe evolution is true…
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=scientists+against+evolution&btnG=Google+Search
You’ll even find plenty of Scientists that do not believe Richard Dawkins is correct in his work either.

I’m encouraged to find some who are willing to admit that evolution is a farce. I feel so very sorry for those who have bought into Darwinianism.
Maybe the people are waking up.

I once read an article in the newspaper which said that 40% of Americans believe in astrology, so it’s no surprise that you got comments trumpeting the virtues of creationism.

Pirillo on Boone on Evolution…
Chris Pirillo is often funny. Just as often his humor is corny. I like corny. Take a look at his commentary regarding a World Net Daily column written by Pat Boone*:

First of all, even if Darwinism could be disproven, this would in no way bolster any creationist ideas as they are all based on faith and not proof. And I believe each new discovery over the past 150 years has only provided more evidence to validate evolution. Not sure where the dinosaur and human footprint references are coming from except more attempts to obfuscate. Creationist need to recognize that their beliefs are a matter of faith and therefore do not require proof. And that is ok. But just because you do not choose to use your mind, your senses and your reason to make sense of this world, do not prevent others from doing so. As far as being lonely, many unpopular positions have been vindicated in the end. Evolution has always been harshly condemned by religions since its inception. It is truly the lonely mans position.

Tim: A Christian is never alone, Christ is always with us.
Evolution, like atheism, requires faith not proof. For if an atheist can not with 100% certainty prove that God (including creationism) does not exist, then the atheist must rely on faith alone to get him through the day. It is of little wonder to me that atheists and evolutionists feel so lonely.
Isaac Asimov once said:
“Emotionally, I am an atheist. I don’t have the evidence to prove that God doesn’t exist, but I so strongly suspect he doesn’t that I don’t want to waste my time.”
Logically, if an atheist considers an investigation into God and creationism to be “wasting their time”, then he fails to provide support for his own beliefs in atheism and evolution as well.
And as for the notion that Christians do not reason, well one need only look to history for that. The following scientists were all Christians and they all believed in creationism…
In Physics- Newton, Faraday, Maxwell, Kelvin. In Chemistry- Boyle, Dalton, Pascal, Ramsay. In Biology-Ray, Linnaeus, Mendel, Pasteur. In Geology- Steno, Woodward, Brewster, Agassiz. In Astronomy- Kepler, Galileo, Herschel, Maunder.
We live in a God created universe, and it is impossible to even begin to understand it unless one believes in God first.

Ok one more comment….:) To Tim Martin, I find your comments to be interesting… Creationist idea’s are not only based on faith there is tons of proof leaning in the direction of creationism. I believe that your claim that each new discovery over the past 150 years has only provided more evidence to validate evolution….is absolutely backwards and so do many sound thinking and respected scientists in the Christian world as well as the secular. You should check out the book Case For A Creator by Lee Strobel, I think this book would change your veiwpoint completely.

Carbonara,
You’re mistaken if you think all Christian scientists disbelieve in evolution. The two are not mutually exclusive. Kenneth Miller is just one well-known example. Evolution/creationism isn’t the same as Christian/Atheist…

Tim, is that why theyve changed their theory so many times over the past 150 years?

I’m honestly surprised that so many readers here are skeptical of Darwinian evolution. I figured, perhaps naively on my part, that there would be some positive correlation between tech people and science people. But I guess not… In any case, I genuinely recommend to my creationist friends here to do a little more investigation into the issue. I can tell right away from the responses here that you’ve come to your conclusions prematurely and without due care. For example appealing to the Paluxy River tracks (a well known hoax), equating evolution with chance, citing scientists who lived well before Darwin, and the work of Lee Strobel? This is embarrassing. The evidence for evolution is copious and well documented. I cannot understand how any fair minded observer could deny it’s factuality. This is why virtually every professional biologist not only accepts Darwinian evolution, but embraces evolutionary theory, and its positive explanatory power. Appealing to an “intelligent designer” is intellectually lazy, and has no scientific utility what so ever. Best,
