actually you dont need to blend the coffe beans to dust! you need to blend it so it takes a special amount of time, mine is 23 second or about there.

Good post. I completely agree on buying the coffee ground, unless one has a burr grinder or super-automatic machine. Consistency in grind is one of the most importand elements in consistently good quality espresso.
