ESET Coupons
Hey Chris … please … do you have anything that will ease the cost of ESET Smart Security?
I’ve had it on trial, and am very happy with it (unless you can suggest a better alternative?) Trial expiry is about to end, and I’d like to retain the software … any sign of a coupon code?:-)
So far all I’ve been able to find is a 20% off discount when you buy a 2 year license, but I’ve let ESET know that we’re interested in promoting future coupons from them, so hopefully we’ll see some in the future.

concerning eset antivirus home, you might want to keep your eye on newegg. last december i picked up an oem disk of eset antivirus home edition with free shipping for $19.99. Thats half off reg. price. its worth every penny of full price though.

I have been using NOD32 for going on 2 years not. All the power without the bloat down on your system. Simply amazing. The UI is amazing as well.

Thanks so much for considering the request of a fellow-ESET fan. The other day I was in your chat room and one “warluigi” recommended Kaspersky. After little research I read that KAV has some issue with chkdsk, and I didn’t want to take a risk, putting me back onto ESET Smart.
Newegg has deals on both antivirus and smart security OEM versions, but being a student, both are still out of my reach. And, I don’t want to go back to my univ provided Symantec Enterprise.
Any more coupons would be appreciated greatly!

I was reading a review online comparing NOD32 with Norton, and while it does have way faster throughput and an equally strong database of known viruses, its heuristics weren’t as good as Norton’s for detecting unknown viruses. I remember in the chat that Kat recommended NOD32 as the industry’s best antivirus software. It’s slightly cheaper than Norton (though it’s easy to pick up Norton for free after mail in rebate at any store), so why would I want to get Norton if NOD32 is cheaper and superior? Does Norton just have the brand recognition?

I have been using Nod32 for years, so when my subscription runs out in December, the 20% discount will help me hang on to my hard earn money.
