Down With Entropy
Wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles. I'm actually working wirelessly in my loft. And even though the WAP is not too far from my position, I'm still pulling in a 50% signal. I could get used to computing this way – especially when the loft is cooler. Gretchen wants me to take the Hump Hound outside while she fixes lunch. I suppose I should, but I just can't find the energy to do it. Actually, I know I have the energy – I just don't WANT to do it. Is that not a good enough excuse? Okay, I suppose not. But she's making me watch some stupid movie on Lifetime. Bah. At least it isn't Oxygen.

Don't you mean “Damn that rising entropy!” And look on the bright side. At least we're not freezing in the dark at the mall, right? (BTW, I'll always be grateful to Chris for introducing me to Moxy Fruvous with that Sprocket video…)

Not sure if you're still using the Linksys or not. I never even tried them after the boss & all the network guys at the office said that that was *the* brand to avoid. I have a 3Com wireless system and I get a MUCH stronger signal then that even in an apartment. Just thought I would pass it on… I have been very happy with 3Com's hardware. I can even go outside on the patio with it!
