Dog Toy Fun

Wicket and Pixie completely demolish any stuffed toy we place in their path. It’s minutes, not hours, before stuffing is strewn about the floor. Guess it’s nothing but plastic from this point forward for our puppy people! Dog toys have always been hit or miss – but I think our fluffernutters largely appreciate treat balls.
Ponzi purchased a treat ball for the first time a few months ago. It came with a re-writable voice chip, which you could use to further encourage the dog to play with the sphere. There was a single hole on the surface, placed there for the insertion and extraction of yummies. Wicket never really figured it out – but Pixie was patient enough to muzzle out plenty of morsels.
We just picked up a few Triple Crown dog training products at a local pet store, including a softer “Everlasting Fun Ball.” They both love it. Our biggest challenge now is keeping it full of yum-yums (although I should find a few larger treats that won’t fall out as easily).
