Yes, I’ll be getting one. The iPhone is so much more than a “cell phone.” It’s an entirely new platform and anyone in the tech field should remain on the leading edge of this platform, both with the iPhone OS and hardware.

Also, Dating DNA has been working on a great SDK iPhone app, which will be in the App Store when it’s launched.

i live in the uk and currently have an iphone. for once we have got a pretty good deal over here. i will get a free iphone upgrade on july 11th all i have to do is sign up for a new 18 month contract and u can get one free if ur willing to pay 45 pound a month. so its all good except im not going to be the one of the only people with an iphone :-(

I would just love to get the Ipod 3g. The only thing is…. I can’t. The reason is because i live in Canada, and they are still having problems with copyright stuff related to the name. I sure hope that they get all of this crap resolved and maybe someday…. Yes someday i may indeed finally get the beloved Iphone.

The new features of the Iphone in my opinion were essential, and probably should have been there in the first version. I’m not even sure if it has vibrate yet… Does it?

If i had the iphone, 1st gen, i would for sure get the newer operating system with the new Iphone for sure, as it has an application store etc. This is really nice that Apple has opened the field up and allowing developers in to create new apps. My hat is most certainly tipped to Apple for doing this.

No, I do not want the 3G iPhone. I have the first generation iPhone and I’m happy with that. I’m not important enough to have to surf the web on my mobile device to begin with, so speed makes no difference to me. The screen, however beautiful it may be and the rendering I must say is awesome, is still small and I’ll leave the web surfing to either my desktop or notebook and my broadband connection.

I love the iPhone 3G, but I hate that they are still with AT&T. I want to move to Germany, to get T-Mobile, I would if it was not AT&T, for now, I will live with it.

i dont really need an iPhone (mainly because it takes soo much trouble to make it work here in china) and i am perfectly ok with my phone right now

I would like to get the new iphone but I do not know if I need to pick up the extra cost for the Faster internet the GPS would be really nice as well. and the White iphone is very sexy,,, hmm I think i might have just talked my self in to the new iphone ! :)

I will definitely be getting an iPhone 3g. I did not get an iphone before because my dad is using AT%T’s EDGE network on his Blackberry and it is so so slow and since we have 3G coverage in our town i will definitely be getting one. I do not know when i will be getting one though i don’t think i want to wait out for it so i might just order it offline because I am not in that big of a hurry to get it. Keep up the good work.

Until the iPhone spits out diamonds, I still won’t buy it. Apple is making the same argument about the iPhone 3G that Sony fanboys are making about the PS3, and you can see where the PS3 has gone so far.

“The PS3 is not only a gaming system, it can also be a computer with a Linux-based OS and can also be a Blu-Ray disc player.”

Plus, these new features are something I don’t think I would use in a cell phone. I use a cell phone to talk to people and play the occasional song, and if I go an buy this phone, I don’t feel like I’d use the other features at all. If I was going to use GPS, I would rather use it on a UMPC and get more use out of it, and I’m using EVDO to get on the internet right now and post this comment. I also don’t care how fast the new phone is, if all I’m going to do is talk on it, speed won’t be much of a problem.
But that’s just me.

I’ll be waiting in line as well. Moving from iPhone version 1 to iPhone 3G.

The iPhone is definitely the best computing device I’ve ever had and the 3G version is going to be amazingly better. They call it a phone, but it’s really a very functional mobile computer.

This is a new platform and it’s only going to get better.

I don’t have an iPhone scince I live in Mexico and I don’t like much the idea of ublocking iPhone.

I do want one, so I’m getting it when it comes out on july 11.
