I notified them immediately but found that it had already been tranferred out of my control even though i contacted GoDaddy to deny it AND it had not been 7 days. Every attempt to find out why this had happened was unsuccessful by email and by phone. I received no refund for the domain name purchase or payment for the sale of my domain name to the anonymous transfer. I am not paranoid but i have found that the government tries to scoop up any domain names that could be embarrassing to the present administration. They say this is required by ICANN every year. They provide a link in the email to click on in order to go to the site. Is this legit? I'm always reluctant to click on links in emails unless I know for certain that I can trust the sender.
