Digital Photo Recovery
I got a note from a shareware programmer friend of mine last week. Had a chance to review it at length a few minutes ago, and it's definitely something worth sharing. Here's “Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery”:
Basically, it's a simple wizard-like tool that will hopefully save some people a lot of grief this holiday season. It can read virtually all memory cards available on the market (actually it can also recover images from scratched CDs and DVDs but we're not really advertising that since we didn't test that part extensively). Digital Photo Recovery can recover JPG, TIFF and some RAW files from accidentally deleted or formatted cards. It can read files even from corrupted cards that Windows can't recognize.
And yes, Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery is freeware. Download it now before you need it, m'kay? Digital photos are too precious to lose… which is why the world stopped using Mavicas.
GoToAssist can save you - the computer repair person - both time and money. Stop making those house calls. Use GoToAssist to connect to your customer's computer right from your home or office. Cut out the travel time, and free yourself up to take in even more business.

s in the middle of a read/write operation,. It could actually damage the data on the disk. You could end up the errors and the operating system may not be able to read any of the data on it. Data Recovery SoftwareDigital Photo RecoveryAlso keep in mind that flash drives have a shelf life. While they’re solid state, data can only be written to and read from so many times before it no longer functions the way it was intended to.

to me – so if you know of a good data recovery tool (shareware, freeware, etc.), please let me know your thoughts. It’d be good to have a semi-definitive list here for future reference. backup, data recovery Related Content:The Ultimate Boot CDDigital Photo RecoveryMatthew Hull of Seagate on Perpendicular Data StorageAdsense LogsData Safety Tips for n00bzGuestbook Cache HackInternet Hard Drivelinks for 2007-02-13Zero CompressionShutterfly Sucks?

Wow that is a great app! I just tried it on my HP photosmart 735 and its pulling all the pics I've ever taken on it as i type this, thats pretty great too because once I accidentally erased all of the pics in the memory by mistake. Now I get to recover them.
Thanks for pointing us to this!
