Wandering around the E3 show floor one new game stuck out like a sore thumb – Desperate Housewives. It’s not like we’re fans of the ladies of Wisteria Lane and we certainly wouldn’t admit it here, but the idea of a game based on the most popular nighttime soap since Dallas seems a little on likely. On closer inspection, the game feels a bit like a SIMS title, with you playing a new arrival on the block who can’t remember her past. You need to get to know the other women on the block to uncover the story. Game play steps through a season of episodes, with your actions controlling the grand finale, which is actually more entertaining than this description might suggest. Chris chatted with Heather Rosie at the Buena Vista booth to get the scoop on the Desperate Housewives game, which might be a guilty pleasure on par with the show.

okay, well i noticed that some people are having the saving problem, and so am i. it says that an error occured every time i try to save my game, and then next time i come to play it, it saves my family but i have to start on the first goal of the first mission. matt said to go to the compatibility tab under ‘properties’ when you right click the shortcut icon, but there is no compatibility tab on the properties for my laptop and i have vista. someone, PLEASE help. this is so annoying.

okay, so i noticed that some people were having the same problem as me. everytime i try to save my game, ‘an error occurred and your game was no saved’ pops up. the next time i go to play it, it saves my family but brings me back to the first goal of the first episode. it’s so frustrating, and i noticed that matt said for people who have vista to go to the compatibility tab under properties from your shortcut icon, but while i have vista, that tap is not there. someone PLEASE help me.

Hi Guys

I was just wondering if anyone had come up with a solution to the problem after the installation? I have managed to install the game and then it goes go the woman with the apple and then takes me back to windows.

I have a feeling the problem may lay with Vista or my garphics card that’s on my laptop and I refuse to buy another one because I only paid £6 for the game!

Well I’ve already beat this game 3 times but I had to do it all in one day because the stupid thing wouldn’t save! I tried 40 times, asked my dad, and read the manual. Another thing is it freezes all the time and I have to shut down my whole computer. It’s an interesting game but these cons suck!
