I registered a screensaver, Iris Party, a few months ago, & have always registered the shareware I keep. It's like tipping for good service-no one makes you do it, but it's the right thing to do. And if we don't pay these guys to create for us, we'll be the losers in the end when shareware no longer exists.

Going to a college with a 20TB intranet leads you to generally stop purchasing software and pretty much getting things for free..though I still do my fair share of purchasing.
I purchased OSX Office, Snood, RealOne (who now says I didnt buy anything from them…), and a few games. They've all been worth it, short of RealOne.
So yes, Winer, I'd purchase software.

My last registration was NewsGator. But my husband and I have been registering our software for years and years. I would estimate we've registered more than we've “bought commercial”–which amuses many of my online friends, since we even register things that have no “nag” such as mIRC. *shrug*.

NewzCrawler. I registered it the day I installed it, I love it that much. I am about to register Trillian and the browser I use on my cell phone from REQWireless.com which absolutely ROCKS! (If you don't have a great browser on your cell phone yet, try that one out!)

Zonealarm, totally — actually Zonealarm Pro, Mailwasher, Paintshop Pro, Atomtime (cuh – I even paid for it – I LOVE it!), of course whatever I bought, Norton Antivirus; Adaware – I'm thinking of getting the full version. Anything that gets rid of crap automatically and keeps me running on time and makes my life easier is worth it.
