Crock Pot 101

Thumbs and hot crock pots do not mix well, and I have the boo-boo to prove it. See, it's all red and stuff – and it may even get… uh, how do I spell this properly? “Filled with pus” will have to do. All I can say is … Ouch!

According to my medical journals you have what's known in the business as an “ouchie”.

Sue them!! there wasn't a written worning on the crock pot that it might get hot! It's truely the American thing to do ;-)

i always struggled with that word, too.
the scientific word is ‘purulent’, but the better known word just cannot appear on a patient’s chart.

hope that it heals quickly and doesn’t get ………… infected.
