Corey Vidal and Me
I recognized his face right away, but I couldn’t quite place it.
“Where have I seen you before?”
He’s, like… one of the most talented people on the face of the planet. Certainly, more talented than me (and that doesn’t take much, admittedly). If the name “Corey Vidal” doesn’t ring a bell, perhaps “An a cappella Tribute to John Williams” will.
And if you haven’t seen the video yet, it’s up for a People’s Choice Award this year – for a very good reason. If you’re a fan of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Jaws, ET… or any of John Williams’s compositions, then you’re going to fall in love with Corey (in a strictly platonic way).
Corey’s apparently on Twitter, too – so start following him there to find out what he’ll do next.

I dig the video…but it’s not him singing. It’s an acapella troupe. So, talented as he is at lipsynching…that is about it.

Once again, Corey Vidal has fooled somebody into thinking he is singing this song. Once and for all: HE IS NOT!
This song is written by – and performed by – Moosebutter. Corey Vidal admits this in the info at the side of the video, but he keeps it on the quiet. That’s why 5 million people have watched his video – and it has a 5 star rating.
Corey, if you’re reading this, PLEASE add a screen to the beginning of your video admitting that you are lip-synching. At the moment, everybody thinks you are singing.
