You’re kidding, right? Linux is a kernel. Operating systems making use of it are typically more stable, reliable and functional than Windows operating systems.

An OS is a tool like any other computer component. What works best for you may not be the best choice for someone else. I enjoy Unix-like OSs because of the control I can exact over my systems and the reliability.

To each their own!

Let me just remind you that you have to buy your operating system and have to put up with all that DRM shit. I, on the other hand, don’t have to deal with any of that stuff.

I never once paid for any software or OS in my life, and my music is all DRM free. =D

Thanks for this one Chris, it has many directions of potential – having used Citrix software in the past for business needs, I am sure this one will be high quality.

Where in the hell do you get off saying linux isn’t stable, reliable, and functional? Microsoft has billions of dollars, which brings millions of developers. Linux is free, with not alot of developers. I assure you linux is the most secure and reliable operating system out there. You just have no penis.

Linux aps crash all the time, especially Firefox or Opera. Windows XP aps never crash for me. Therefore Windows is more stable. Now get the fuck off the internet.

I know citrix is a sponsor – but also look at Crossloop (http://www.crossloop.com). They built this on top of VNC and it allows you to have a “Tech support track record”

This is such a great Product!! If they made GoToMeeting’s interface like this i would buy it. Citrix is such a great company with a good Record. If a bigger company (Apple or Google) took over they could make the software a bit better.

I don’t need to use P2P clients and torrents to get my OS (If that is what you meant).

I think the Beryl GUI is so much better tthan windows along with it stability but most software that i use won’t work on linux and there’s very few games that are compatible with it!

Hm.. i had a question.. One of my friends has messing around with my pc one day froze it..and like a idiot kept on pressing n holding the power button .. now when i turn on my pc the screen wont turn on it says.. no input signal or Monitor Status: Inactive… so what can i do besides take it to get it fixed?

I think that this is a great product, bit i have alot of problems with this. It wont run on my mac well, and flat out fails on my linux machine. T reported this to Citrix, and they havent gotten back to me, Oh Well

i got the beta, looked at it from my desktop to my laptop.

It is impressive. I did submit one change I thought would be good to make. Dont call the “customers” customer int eh chat. It allows you put a name in, why not use it.

This will make tech help to anyone so much easier, if they can get into the OS that is. if you cant do that, no program will help. LOL.

yea, I had the same problems when trying to help people where I’m trying to explain to them what to do and they still don’t understand.

I found something similar called Skyfex its pretty cool and sorta kinda similar.
