Complaints!

Whine, moan, complain – it's cathartic. Those who keep their complaints to themselves are doomed to implode. Yes, I lead a very happy life – with two very happy dogs and one very happy fiancee. When I complain, it's because I'm trying to get something off of my chest. There's nothing wrong with complaining, so long as you know what you're complaining about (and not necessarily complaining for the sake of complaining). My thoughts, unshared, don't do anybody any good. And instead of registering a complaint with any given marketing department, I choose to do it where anybody can read it. I'm just venting steam, realizing that I need to find another way to let my negative opinions go. Was I not conditioned to look on the bright side of life?

Chris, don't worry about it. If you can't vent here, where can you vent? Any of us who think your bitching about us, probably deserve it. The rest of can get our own blog to bitch from. Stay just like you are

I'm with Ed, Chris. Pay no heed to the naysayers and pessimists. I, too, have an excellent wife and two goofy dogs and am happy.
Nothing comes to mind to complain about so I'll just have to deal with that, I guess.

Unlike many other responders, I am not having a good web purchasing experience with strawberrynet.com this December 2006. The site is very slow and does not give either a tracking or confirmation number.

After waiting three days for any kind of response, I e-mailed them and eventually a confirmation number came in a separate e-mail but said there was a problem processing my credit card. I decided to cancel that order and start over not willing to submit a second credit card to them when the first should have been fine.

Six days later, I still did not receive any reply indicating a confirmation or problems processing my resubmitted order.

I went to another site, ordered the same item in 15 minutes and got an instant confirmation number. Let’s see what happens in the end.

I recieved a letter from discover card today( which I reserve for balance transfers mostly) stating that they were raising my interest rates for purchases to 18.9% effective June 1. They stated their reason as my debt ratio was too high and the balance on my revolving charges was also high. They neglected the fact that in the past 12 or more years I have NEVER been late or delinquent on ANY of my charge accounts. That doesn’t matter.Trans Union says my debt ratio is high and boom….the interest rate goes up. What a crock. I’ve taken this as a personal insult and vow to let all of my associates know what a POS company Discover is and will urge them to cancel their accounts as well. Needless to say, I called Discover and told them to either keep my rate as is or cancel my card and when the account associate stuttered for a second I cut the card and closed the account. I absolutely refuse to be blackmailed by a credit card company that refuses to use payment history as a basis for credit

I rarely send letters like this but I am so frustrated with windows vista I just bought a toshibs lap top with vista on it and I have never seen as big a joke I can’t install so much as a usb to serial port cable so many things I have tried to do with vista have failed and everyone I talk to tells me the same thing. I have an old sony laptop with xp on it and it works wonders, but I needed a new computer and boy was that a mistake. I can’t believe that toshiba would allow vista on their computers. Hope something new comes soon .

Hi
I have brand new computer Toshiba, can not install Skype. Message says not enough space on the hard disk. DOes it make sense? i have 180 GB left so i thought in my limited knowledge that it should be enough for the skype. do you have different knowledge at the microsoft?
best regards

OK, I’ve about had it ! I’m still going to stay polite but please get off your butt and do something beside understanding our complaints and agreeing to them. I can hardly get through two email messages that the whole darn thing freezes – I have to log off and start all over again ending up the same way. Have any of you ever tried deleting a file ? Well, what an ordeal that is – it takes for ever! And other stuff just like it but it would take too long to enumerate. And I’m dorry to say but I will NEVER recommend any one buying Vista.
Thanks anyway just for listening.
Nicole

I totally agree with Nicole…Windows Vista is the worse & I mentally kick myself every day for letting the Geek Squad Teckkie talk me into the “newest & best” program.Have had repairs done 3X since Nov. 07…2 modems fried and OS apparently “disappeared”one fine day. Asked it to be replaced with XP but you would have thought I was asking to have the Tek.’s mother boiled in oil. (OK, I CAN pay them $300 to do it but my warranty would become void) My pc is eMachine T5234; warranty only offers repairs & parts. I’m boxed in financially, but when the warranty is up on this piece of….garbage, I’ll gladly sell it at a loss and get a HP or Dell with XP!!

Hate it, hate it, hate it. I am not a knowledgeable PC person. This has been the ultimate in frustration. My PC was purchased 12 months ago and I still hate Vista.
If I could have it removed and XP installed I would. But everyone says it won’t work and they have a steady stream of people wanting the same thing. Sitting down and turning on my computer used to be fun. Not so much anymore. Thanks, I just needed to vent after the latest fubar.

Vista is the worst thing I have ever used. I have sent my pc to be fixed a couple of times thinking it had problems, but the problem is not the pc it is Vista. Didn’t they beta test or whatever they do with software being unleashed on the public? Before they take your hard earned money? My pc has s**tloads of memory, s**tloads of hard drive but constantly freezes up, crashes, cannot handle updates, error message come up all the time, can’t do the simplest things, it takes hours – for this I paid good money – it doesn’t make sense. There should be a class action against Microsoft for foisting Visa onto the public and taking our money. Compensation for pain and suffering should be given for the hours and hours spent re-doing stuff, and all the frustration caused thru things failing to work as they should. This product is a sick joke. I am now using a really old pc with xp, hardly any hard drive (about 8 gb) and not a lot of ram and it works brilliantly compared to my new pc. I am furious and want to take this further but am not sure what to do. Sorry I am just so glad to know I am not the only one suffering from Vista induced psychosis.

I should be able to complain to bill himself as he sold me the software windows xp,but as usual if you`ve got money you can get away with anything,be rich have no real friends. If he want`s to come to the north-east of england that`s where real people are.You never know he might send me a e-mail himself.yeh right never happen.Thank You guy`s or girls for letting me complain

Windows Vista is driving me crazy! I try to click on windows help and support and my computer freezes up. Apparently they don’t want to help people. How do I upgrade to Xp? It worked. I am tired of my computer lagging and freezing up!

I just bought a new HP Pavilion note book with windows vista.
I loaded office 2007. I tried several times to send a document from word. I call my Internet provider, I called windows vista, I called HP. No one could tell me what to do. The windows vista tech told me he still uses XP#%*&?.
All I want to do is to send an e-mail directly from microsoft word. ie; type up a word document, click on the send button, but it doesn’t let me send. I have to go to my email and attach the word document. Its an extra step I don’t need considering I have to send 35 to 45 word documents daily.

vista suck,s it will be on my front lawn soon ,worst money i have ever spent

suckss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bad

still sucks, should have blown it on agood week end

no dinner and drinks?

What the HELL is wrong with this picture?! Vista is a HUGE headache and waste of money! It has made so many frustrated and angry!! So why don’t the creators do something about it?! Fix it! make it better!

DO NOT BUY VISTA!!!! you WILL regret it!!!

Not a vista complaint. Why in the F%ck do you tards preload Windows Movie Maker when it is the least stable way of preparing a video? My moments, which im certain mean shit to you, end up scrambled and constantly booted. I lost footage of my uncle who died last week, and now I have to explain this to my family in the midst of thier grief. YOUR program stole his image from us….I want an explanation as to why a preloaded program does this. My uncle and his image is forever lost.
Why?

I’m just now learning about how bad Vista Windows and the Microsoft 2007 package is because I have been blissfully using XP for a couple years and just now couldn’t open a Word 2007 document from a business associate. Does anyone know if Microsoft is going to fix this stuff?

Also, I agree with Steve on April 8, 2007 about discover card. If you have one, cut it up and throw it out. I started to order something from an infomercial and when they tried to bait and switch me to triple the order, I cancelled the order right there. I tried to call the “customer service” number and you can never get through. Several weeks later, they sent the stuff anyway and charged me $108 for a $20 original order! I sent it back, but they wouldn’t credit me on discover card. I have sent the problem to the Attorney General of the state and it’s still in dispute. discover is still charging me monthly $19 late fees and finance charges when consumer laws state they can’t do that on a disputed charge. The idiots at discover said, “well you must have ordered something because they have your account info,” they won’t listen to me that this was a fraudulent charge and just keep charging. Other credit card companies obey consumer laws! Thanks for listening.

I loaded vista,it’s suppose to be this hot shit item. Now none of my printers work because it says their not supported and i can not get my micro trend to load at all.it says it needs 514mb and i have 106gb left,So it’s not happening. Finally my computer keeps shutting off.The same pc i had xp on,it was working fine,so i went to my craftsman box, pullled a how u doin sledge out and smashed my cpu into the floor along with my monitor and printers, yessss i went over but i felt a whole lot fucking better, thanks vista.

Vista sucks,I should have spent the money on a blowjob,at least i would have gotten some satisfaction, besides you can’t screwup a blowjob.thanks for letting me vent.

Stupid Idiot problem!!!! I adjusted the font size (DPI) to custom scale (192 DPI) after that no returm way to defult. I look for technical support in the internet but the web site round the bush (Help not found)

What is happening? I type out a lengthy email, click on attach to send some pics and then up comes bing and wipes off all of my work!!! Not bloody funny!!! Help.

I personally had no problem with win98…then XP rolled around and I was eventually forced to upgrade. Now I’ve
got XP where I like it and tried vista on a seperate PC. In my
opinion it was DOA. Now Windows 7 looks like a repackaged
vista clone. Too be fair I haven’t seen it but have read enough
by those who have. I think if microsoft keeps up I’m goin to linux!

What Do You Think?
