Commercial Interruption
Is it just me, or are the Super Bowl commercials sucking this year? Hank Aaron made a cameo appearance in some kind of insurance spot a few minutes ago, Britney Spears is looking mighty scary in the new Pepsi ad, and I have a feeling that the eTrade monkey will be back soon. New Line Cinema is ruling the roost with their trailers today. Can't say any that of their movies look interesting, though. Universal is releasing The Scorpion King, but the question still remains: without Brendan Fraser, will the film pull in any ratings? Infect-truth, as always, is eerily smart. mLife “made” me go to their site to find out more. Effective, alhtough their servers are currently taking quite a beating. Looks to be a new AT&T Wireless service. “The page cannot be displayed.”

Chris, I was thinking the same thing. Both the game and the commercials are sucking, so I am about to flip over to TV land for some reruns.
First post here, I just found your blog yesterday. Love you show.

You aren't excited about Blade II??? I'm still waiting for the new Spider-Man footage to air, something tells me that's not happening.

I think the fact that Brendan Fraser isn't in this new flick might be its only saving grace.
The Mummy Returns was just far too cheesy.

I personally think both MIIB and Blade 2 will be worth watching later this year when they come out in theatres. I was in a chat room earlier and there were a few people saying the movies look stupid dumb etc… I totally disagree. If you're into action movies what better than Wesley Snipes and hey Blade is somewhat a classic in it's genre. Prolly won't be as good as Queen of the Damned (which they did good in givin' the part to Aaliyah - damn she look good in that). And MIIB looks funny as hell… i just watched both previews online since i couldn't really watch them yesterday when the superbowl was on. Atleast though in the SB preview of MIIB they explained why TLJ (Tommy Lee Jones) was back. The preview i watched from Apple.com and from the movie's site explained in better detail. It looks very promising and i doubt it will dissapoint. So to all the people thinkin' it won't be good… think back to a movie like The Wizard of Oz it was originally reviewed as terrible and unimaginative.. can you believe it.. The Wizard of Oz unimaginative… yeah well just goes to show you.
