Hey Chirs congratulations on this, this is huge most of us would never dream of getting 500 views on our uStream channel and you get it when your sleeping, and no on would even dream of getting a CNN gig. To me i think with you on it and me being a big fan of yours you will make the CNN a better place.

A good one for young or old – how many times have you been asked by parents or friends of parents to set up their new computer? Need to go into a summation of what junk you can safely get rid of when buying a new laptop / desktop. The manufacturer will load so much @$%^ – it would be nice for the older generation to know what they really don’t need!

as a retired enineer, I recognise the need for understanding the many new acronyms, technical words and phrases that are coming into existence every week in info dealing with computer technology. Please present a short blurb as to the sources that exist on the web(with printable copy) and what published booklets are available for purchase; such a Barron’s Dictionary of Computer and Internet terms which rapidly become out of date as new terms appear so rapidly. My ability to understand computer literature is often hampered by my inability to look up a definition. Any advice that you can provide will be appreciated.

Hi Chris, Computer users everywhere need your help! I know, because they need mine. I’m a busy tech support guy/ expert and the 2 things which I hope you will touch on while you are getting such great exposure is:
1. PEOPLE, your browser is your Internet Explorer! They don’t know what a browser is and they don’t know that they are supposed to be able to go directly to a website rather than being pushed through search engine results. So, tell people that they should set their browser settings so that when they type a website address into their browser address field they can go directly to that site!

2. Most people’s system updates are set to 3am by default but many are not getting the updates because their computers are not on the internet at that time.
So, tell them to reset that time.

I have a bunch of super simple things that I hope you can broadcast to the U.S. average computer user. For example; LEARN TO TURN DOWN YOUR INTERNET SECURITY TOO! Duh? Right?

Have fun in the “big time”.

so you got back on the tv. great, been trying to get you there for a long time.

the other channel don’t even get anymore emails. the old 3 mainstays are getting to lax in updating anything.

just why the ones i been trying to get you on are so blind as to not get you at their network is unknown. but i am sure you would have boosted the rating of their hurting nightly news show.

still don’t know why the other channel did not talk with you. i’ll have to write them and say see i told you to get him.
maybe they will also decide to pick up your feed? can always hope you get on all the channels .

Please show people how to resize pictures and insert them into Outlook Express.

Also I know it is very basic but if you could show people how to copy and paste things into an e-mail.
