Shortly after I told Chris about TextPayMe and their Xbox 360 giveaway for referring new users, he posted something about the service on Lockergnome. Twelve hours later, he’d one his first Xbox 360 and had a second one in less than 24 hours. Several days later, he hit Xbox 360 number 5, which doesn’t include the ones he already had. I’m still waiting to win one, so someday I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. Of course, TextPayMe is really a cool new payment service for transferring funds via SMS, not an endless supply of new gaming hardware for Chris and we talked with CJ Huang from TextPayMe on the show about how the service works, what’s different about TextPayMe compared to other payment services and features we’d like to see in a future revision.
