CES Camp, Tonight

Posted by

You have to make a decision: attend a noisy party with mediocre snacks, or come to CES Camp tonight and meet a whole buncha cool people. There are so many things to do here during CES that you have to (ultimately) decide what's going to make more memories for you in the long-run. I've already seen a lot of old friends, but I'm ready to make new ones. It's already been a thrilling trip, despite all my technology problems (and not having enough time to see all the interesting things on the show floor). One highlight has been meeting the folks who produce my default browser, Maxthon (yes, Firefox is just a hold-over until I can get my Maxthon back). Another remarkable experience was sitting next to someone on the shuttle and discovering she was head of R&D for Alpine – specifically, for their navigation products (of which I'm a huge fan, since I drive an Acura TSX). It's not just about the latest iPod case or bigger screen or DVD standard for me – it's about connecting with people. I hope to see you at CES Camp if you can't swing by the Microsoft pavilion and see us broadcast live at 1pm again today!
