Kids need to start young if they want to get a fair shake in this world and become the best at doing whatever it is they strive to accomplish. And if they strive to accomplish great evil, then starting them out with a Star Wars Darth Vader Onesie and Headpiece is the absolute best way to ensure that they’ll excel!
Not sure if what you’re wearing to the important presentation is appropriate? Don’t second guess yourself; protocol droids belong absolutely everywhere (except maybe for dive cantinas). This C-3PO Costume Hooded Union Suit will ensure that you’re always wearing the right thing!
Doctor Who has been known for its unique sound effects since it first aired just over 50 years ago. Now you can carry around six of the all-time favorites with the Doctor Who Electronic Key Ring Fob. You just never know when the occasion will strike (stuffy business meeting, droning college lecture, etc.) to conveniently produce one of the following: Sonic screwdriver Tardis dematerialization Dalek “EXTERMINATE” followed by zapping sound K9 saying “Affirmative” Cybermen march Judoon gun
It’s not really a Land of the Lost if you can find good pals to keep you company! Sure, Chaka’s always been a reliable standby on the friendship circuit, but the Sleestaks don’t tend to roll that way… So with this set of Sleestak and Chaka Nodniks, you’ve got one friend and one potential foe — unless maybe this Sleestak is like S’latch, the talking Sleestak who freaked out the other Sleestaks for being too smart. Imagine Maggie Simpson being born into the Bundy family and you get an idea of what we’re dealing with, here.
He’s played Willow, a homicidal leprechaun, a Hogwarts professor, a goblin banker, a galactic emperor in hiding, a Narnian dwarf, and many more fantastic characters throughout science fiction, fantasy, and more mundane settings over the past 30 years, but he’ll always be best remembered by me as the Ewok named Wicket (not to be confused with the dog named Wicket). Happy birthday, Warwick Davis! You can get your own Plush Wicket right here!
Anyone else remember Captain Picard using an iPad on Star Trek: The Next Generation? It’s something that seemed like a gadget from the far future just a couple of decades ago… Well, okay. I guess 2013 would have been the far future for sci-fi writers from the 1980s (when TNG started running). To put it in perspective, Blade Runner takes place in 2019 — just six years from when I’m writing this — but when the film was released in 1982, we easily envisioned space colonies and artificial intelligence being commonplace by the time we got to where we are now. So we have the iPad, but not homicidal replicants roaming the streets of a dying planet. I’m going to count both of those facts as a win for the human race at this point in the 21st century. We’re probably lucky we don’t have access to all of the technology that we can imagine, eh? What technology do you think we’re ready for, and what technology is worth a wait? If this Star Scores were part of the Star Wars series, this would be Episode V, aka the Empire Strikes Back. While I can in no way expect that you will enjoy it as much as what many consider to be the best of the Star Wars movies, I do hope that we can only get better from here. May the Force be with us?
