Okay, remember how a week and a half ago I weighed in at Captain 173 (which was actually 174-something the day before I announced it)? Well, if you do the math – that's 7 pounds lost thus far. I believe I've found my groove: (1) wake up, (2) weigh myself, (3) scoot downstairs and check email, (4) hop onto the Gazelle for 40 minutes, trying to keep around 120bpm, (5) hop onto the Ab Lounge for 5 minutes, (6) lift a few hand weights until I can't, (7) eat something small for breakfast, (8) drink some green tea, (9) get on with my day.

I knew the weight would come off quickly. I swear, all guys need to do, is a little exercise, and drink one less beer per day, and the weight just melts right off. Fiddlesticks. Oh well, off to eat some porkrinds.

You should have some small thing to eat, like a banana, before you do all that exercising on an empty stomach. Your body needs fuel to help you lose that weight.
