I am a canon fan myself. I had the powershot G6, loved that thing. IT was easy for me to handle with my ventilator and my wheelchair. I dropped the darn thing, and now they don’t make them anymore.

I settled for a Kodak, but it just isn’t a canon. I needed a new camera badly …love to take pics.

I just picked up an SD500 (cheap!) and plan to use it for a year or two before upgrading. When I do this is what I want: 10mp, faster SD card with more capacity, Larger LCD, better everything. Photokina just started!

I’m really intrigued by the the 28mm equivalent at the wide end on the new one. The iso1600 mode + the IS should be really cool for indoor shooting under less than idea lighting. I hope the noise & detail is better than my s400 @ iso400 after I run it through NeatImage.

It goes without saying, I’m not interested in the sd700 :)
