Beyond the need for the meals; I realized the need for consumer education (at the time, myself) and nutritional planning for general health as well as sickness and disease prevention through everyday, accessible nutrition.
  • Target Customer/Audience: Families, Cancer patients and survivors, as well as other nutrition-sensitive people seeking detailed nutrition planning and meal preparation on the go.
  • Synopsis of Product / Service: Vital provides nutrition planning for our consumers. Further, we prepare the meals designed through our nutrition planning in a quick-serve restaurant setting.
  • Main Company Contact: David Blanco

I like it and hope it’s one that can be implemented. It seems that if you do find a restaurant that has a menu centered around healthy eating it is typically a vegetarian restaurant. This should not be the only option for healthy eating and the little menu in the corner from some restaurants are not enough. I would love to see a commercial on television advertising healthy food in the way McDonald’s, Burger King, Denny’s and the like have enticed many.

yes i belive it can i have read studys that it can be healthy if its made in a good invorment!

Well, if McDonald’s could cut down on the trans fat, who knows what is possible?

I think fast food could be healthy. we just need to cut out most of the burgers and fries.

Fast food can be healthy if you pick the right stuff. I have read a couple books on health and fast foods. Example: You can go to McDonalds (out of all the places) and get a McChicken, take off one of the buns and it can actually be considered “healthy”. Crazy, I know. Another one is Burger King Whoppers. Well, actually I have no facts to back that one up. They are just good. I mean you do have the basics though: Tomatoes, lettuce, beef, and the random assortments. I don’t know much about it but I know that there are at least more good than bad on it

We need to have healthy fast food as a way of life…the rule, not the exception.

Fast food can be healthy in my opinion, if you stay away from all of those fried foods and greasy food, McDonalds does there share for healthy food with their snack wraps which imo is healthier!
