http://live.pirillo.com/ – Which laptop brand is better: Lenovo or Dell?
Chris’s experience with Lenovo, post-sale, have been very positive. Customer service has been excellent, with one note: he has the business service plan for his Lenovo laptop. Of course, the laptop is built rock-solid, and can handle the occasional drop.
Dell hardware has been a bit of a disappointment for Chris in the past, but he has been given word of mouth assurances that their hardware has improved, along with improvements to customer service.
We’ve got some tips for prospective laptop buyers:
- Budge – if the laptop is too expensive for the features it offers, try looking somewhere else.t
- Customer service – if the company has a spotty customer service track record, you might be better off paying a bit more for a laptop with better customer support behind it.
- Compare the features of several laptops and determine if they are all roughly the same or if one model has a feature that’s a deal maker.
- Search for problems other customers have had with the specific model you’re considering. If you see a pattern of problems, you may want to stay away from that product.
- If everything is basically the same, then it all boils down to brand loyalty.
Do you have any suggestions for the prospective laptop buyer?
